Chiefs vs. Patriots: Why it matters

The Patriots aren’t the usual dominant team we’ve come to expect in New England. Brady is 41 years old, and oftentimes this season, he’s been a relatively mediocre quarterback. The team, as a whole, hasn’t been great this year.  But against the Chargers last week, the man who’s won four Super Bowls (and played in two others) came alive in a solid performance.

The Chiefs, meanwhile, had one of the weakest defenses in the league this season, but in last week’s divisional playoff round, they held the Colts to only 13 points and 266 yards. This game, though, could be an offensive shootout, and if, you factor in the Kansas City home field advantage, it’s basically a 50-50 matchup. It should be a fun one.
