Manchester United vs. Real Sociedad: Preview

Manchester United drew 1-1 against West Brom over the weekend to continue a rough patch in its Premier League competitions. United now may be ceding the title race to its crosstown rivals, though the race is still close enough to be compelling viewing over the next few weeks. Man U’s here in the Round of 32 after sliding from the Champions League group stages.

Real Sociedad is currently fifth in La Liga, on track to go back to Europa League unless it can pull a good run together in either competition. The team’s had a better than usual season, starting out of the gate strong, and two straight wins have put the team back into Champions League place contention. However, the four teams above them are all hitting their strides as well.

Odds

According to the oddsmakers at BetMGM (as of Feb. 18):

  • Manchester United, +120 (wager $100 to win $120)
  • Real Sociedad, +225 (wager $100 to win $225)
  • Draw, +250

How to stream Premier League matches live

Here is how to watch the Premier League live and online, be it on NBCSN (as it will be Saturday for Manchester United), NBC, or Peacock.

Peacock

To stream Premier League matches this season, you’ll need Peacock to access every match. There is a free version allowing you to sample various NBC movies, shows, and original content. But for Premier League live streaming, you’ll need to upgrade to Peacock Premium.

It’ll become more and more essential throughout the season given the number of matches NBC’s featuring on the service. And, fingers crossed and covid willing, you’ll be able to roll right from the end of the Premier League season to the rescheduled Summer Olympics.

FuboTV

Pretty much every sports channel you could think of is available through Fubo, including BeIN Sports, CBS Sports Network, and TUDN. To get the most sports, consider adding the Sports Plus with NFL RedZone add-on at $10.99 a month to a robust Fubo Elite package.
