This is the ultimate book for devoted ‘Beetlejuice’ fans

Be careful about saying his name three times, though.

If you’re old enough to remember what the Handbook for the Recently Deceased is, you’re surely cackling at your computer screen right now.

If you aren’t, get your ass to Netflix and watch Beetlejuice. Back from the era when Tim Burton made films that were actually good, it’s tells the tale of Mr & Mrs. Maitland, a couple dealing with their unexpected death and navigating the afterlife. This is a journal replica of the book they find in their home after they die, which is excellent low-key nerd referencing at its best if you ask us.

Rogue ghoul Beetlejuice (played brilliantly by Michael Keaton) had his own brand of help to offer the Maitlands, but before that the Handbook for the Recently Deceased is all they had to go on. This replica is an officially licensed product and contains 250 blank pages for sketching or writing. But let’s get real: the best usage is just leaving it lying around for other people to see when they come over (and perhaps question whether they are actually still alive or what).

ThinkGeek’s got it for $9.99.
