Joe Gardner is a middle school music teacher who dreams of becoming a jazz legend. Just as he’s about to get his big break, an accident causes his soul to be separated from his body. Before his soul enters the Great Beyond, he manages to escape. He ends up in the Great Before, a magical world where souls are formed. There, Joe meets and works with souls-in-training, to get back to earth before his body dies.

How to stream Pixar’s Soul
Starting December 25, Pixar’s Soul will be available to stream on Disney+. Unlike Mulan, which was available for an additional fee, Soul will be available to stream for free.
Disney+ offers one of the most beloved libraries of streaming content online. This includes 500 Walt Disney Studios movies and 7,000 episodes of Walt Disney Television. It also includes selections from Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. They’re all members of the Disney family, after all. There are also more than 30 seasons of The Simpsons.
