If you’d like to offer your Halloween party guests an activity other than hanging around the spiked punch bowl, a good game is always a welcome addition.

For the season, you need something appropriately spooky. Luckily, Betrayal at House on the Hill fits that description perfectly, and it has a newly released expansion that makes the game bigger and creepier than ever.

Betrayal at House on the Hill sends 3-6 players into an old house that is never the same twice. When you trigger the house’s haunted origins, one of your party turns to evil and it’s up to the survivors to figure out how to survive.

There’s also an expansion called Widow’s Walk, which adds a new floor to the house to explore as well as 50 new haunting scenarios and 30 new cards. It does require a copy of the original game to play.

Betrayal at House on the Hill is on sale for $37.96 (regularly $49.99) and the Widow’s Walk expansion is on sale for $20.24 (regularly $25). Not too shabby for a life of eternal terror. Your friends will be asking, “What was that scary game we played again?” long after All Hallows’ Eve is gone.
