The president’s son told Bloomberg News that he isn’t ruling out running for office in the future, something he’s broached in the past.
“As for the future,” he told the news outlet. “I never want to rule it out. I definitely enjoy the fight. I definitely like being out there and I love being able to see the impact and the difference that it makes on these people’s lives that I get to see all over the country.”
He added that he has “a lot of time” to think about a political run, citing the age difference between him and his father.
“We have a lot of time… My father decided to get into politics at 68. I’m 41, I’ve got plenty of time,” he said.
This isn’t the first time Trump Jr. has hinted at a possible political future. In October, he told NBC News that he would not “rule anything out,” but did say that a gubernatorial run in New York did not interest him.
Last week, the idea of a Trump Jr. presidential run in 2024 was floated about, with the idea of creating a Trump family “dynasty” in the White House.
