Fans of free stuff and horror games, rejoice! A new Five Nights at Freddy’s game is now available for free on Steam. It’s called Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator and it initially looks like an action game from the Atari era. It soon shifts gears and becomes a full-fledged Five Nights at Freddy’s game.

The series started in 2014, when indie developer Scott Cawthon released the first game. In it, you play as a security guard who has to keep an eye on numerous feeds from security cameras at a Chuck E. Cheese’s-like restaurant. Unfortunately for you, murderous animatronics begin making their way to your room, hungry for your blood. To spare yourself from being torn apart, you have limited control over the restaurant’s door locks. Play smartly, and you’ll live through the night.

Four similar games soon followed between 2014 and 2016, earning widespread fame thanks largely to YouTubers who would play the games and freak out at the jump-scares. Cawthon released an RPG spinoff called Five Nights at Freddy’s World last year, but removed the game from Steam amid negative fan feedback. There are even plans for a feature film based on the franchise.

The description for Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator touts it as a “fun Five Nights at Freddy’s adventure with a lighter touch for the holidays.” Turns out that’s not entirely accurate. You do run a pizzeria, but before long blood-thirsty animatronics start coming your way. The game meshes your pizzeria managing duties with limited ways to fend off the stalking evil robots. It’s Five Nights at Freddy’s 6 in everything but name.

Fans seem to be enjoying the game so far, giving it a “Very Positive” rating on Steam. If it sounds like your kind of thing and you have a Windows PC, you can download it here for free.
