A group of unmasked University of Kansas frat bros and their “frat house Karen” are seen arguing and taunting with the driver of a recently viral video.

The motorist, Jacob Schooler, asserted to the Kansas City Star that “he mistakenly pulled into their driveway, and one of the group threw an alcoholic drink into his car.”

Schooler said the incident occurred around 6pm Saturday near 10th and High streets in Lawrence, Kansas. Several members of the Kappa Sigma fraternity harassed him and tried to block his car into the driveway.

During most of the first half of the video, the camera is mostly facing his chair. However, it can be seen that Schooler evidently pulls into the driveway, for reasons not clearly understood, but is soon trapped.

“What the fuck is going on?” Schooler asks, then demands to be let out.

One of the frat boys says he’s come onto private property. Schooler responds: “That’s cool; let me fucking out so I can leave.”

As he turns out, a beverage is thrown into the car. Schooler identifies the “person in the pink shirt” as the culprit.

The unmasked “frat house Karen” suddenly shows up, beer in hand, to put in her two cents out of nowhere. The taunting woman, later identified as the house custodian or “house mother,” waves him away as he finally leaves. On the way out, he quips, “there’s a lot of white folks there.”

The video has been viewed thousands of times on his wife’s Facebook page.

Subsequently, the University of Kansas Chancellor Douglas Girod issued a cease-and-desist order on two fraternities, Kappa Sigma and Phi Kappa Psi, following the video’s release, for violation of the state’s COVID guidelines.

In a recent interview with CNN, Dr. Lee Norman, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment secretary, expressed concern about reported COVID-19 clusters at Kansas colleges or universities.

“Granted classes just started on Monday, so we know that the ones testing positive probably brought it in from their home communities,” Norman said. “I know we’re going to have more outbreaks than just the five.”
