One of the most enticing Xbox One exclusives, Cuphead, has been in development for years, appearing at several of the last E3 events with minimal updates and brief new looks at its gorgeous nostalgia-fueled artstyle. Cuphead looks like a classic Disney cartoon, but don’t be fooled: the boss battles and puzzles seem to be incredibly tough.

Originally pitched as a straightforward boss gauntlet, additional development introduced co-op play and more developed levels. After years of waiting, fans finally got a release date for this indie game during Microsoft’s E3 showcase. You can have Cuphead in your hands on Sept. 29.

Priced at $19.99, Cuphead is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, compatible with the Xbox One family of systems as well as Windows 10 PCs.
