The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was far-flung from any previous Hyrulian adventure and brimming with glorious lore. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a deserving action-packed prequel to the 2017 hit.
The game takes place an entire century before the events laid out in Breath of the Wild. Calamity Ganon and his legions of monsters are trying to take over Hyrule. It’s up to Link, Zelda, King Roam, Impa, and a slew of other champions to stop him.
In Age of Calamity, like previous games in the Warriors franchise, you will conduct classic warfare across a sprawling landscape––the same one you ventured through in Breath of the Wild. Plus, you can play as different champions, attack foes strategically, unlock new devastating weapons and combos, and if there’s time, maybe fix yourself a snack.
