A supporter of President Donald Trump reportedly threw what appeared to be “chicken poop” at the Red Hen restaurant after White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked to leave last week.

The poop-throwing came as supporters of the president gathered outside of the restaurant holding homemade signs and pro-Trump flags on Tuesday night, according to WSET13, a local television station.

The man, identified as Reginald Scott See according to Law & Crime, allegedly shouted “Make America Great Again” when throwing the animal feces. The local fire department cleaned up to mess.

Conservatives—including the president—have pushed back against the Red Hen for refusing to serve Sanders since she was asked to leave late last week while dining with her family.

While the poop-throwing protester was at the right Red Hen restaurant, some pro-Trump hecklers have been leaving harassing and threatening messages to the wrong Red Hen online, despite the separate organization repeatedly telling people they are directing their anger in the wrong direction.

A new flurry of anger was directed at Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) after she told supports to continue confronting Trump administration officials in public places.

“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up,” the lawmaker said last week. “If you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd, and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Law & Crime reports that the Lexington, Virginia police department is not commenting on the poop-throwing incident.
