Apex Legends is quite the game, with quite the cast of characters. At eight “Legends,” though, it’s considerably more sparse than something like Overwatch. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait terribly long for some new additions. Two new characters have been leaked, and while Octane is the more known quantity, we’ve also got “Wattson” to look forward to. Here’s everything we know about the leaked Apex Legends character Wattson.
Apex Legends: Who is Wattson?
Wattson is one of several leaked characters that may be added soon to Apex Legends. He’s one of only two that we really know anything about. The other being Octane, but data miners haven’t been able to dig up much more than Wattson’s name and one other key feature.

Apex Legends: What are Wattson’s abilities?
Data miners found one of Wattson’s supposed abilities. Named “Tesla Coil,” the ability apparently acts similar to Caustic’s poison gas, trapping players in an area-of-effect. Also, his name is Wattson. I mean, come on, it’s perfect. We’re not entirely sure if it’s his ultimate or a more-frequent tactical ability.

When is Wattson going to be released?
There’s currently no official release date for Wattson. Octane is the most likely bet for the first post-release character, and given that there are several other supposed character names floating around, we can’t even be sure he’ll be the second character to release. Don’t count on seeing Wattson until at least April.
