The Star Wars prequel trilogy still remains particularly polarizing among viewers nearly 20 years after it first launched, but one group of fans paid tribute to the final film in the trilogy with a full-length, shot-for-shot remake.

Revenge of the Sith finally reveals Anakin Skywalker’s downfall and reemergence as Darth Vader, which has now been captured in all of its glory in a fan recreation from Tim Hoekstra. It uses the script of Revenge of the Sith and the score, but low-budget effects and actors who aren’t always choosing the same directions as the original film. give it a very different feel.

It gives it a very different feel.

Even if it’s not your cup of tea, you have to admire the sheer commitment to the project—plus it looks like everyone’s having a blast working on it. And if you don’t have time to watch the entire thing, Anakin and Obi-Wan’s final encounter is very much worth the watch.
