Microsoft is a really big company. And sometimes staring at our stark Excel or Word screens, it’s easy to forget something so big must house some seriously artistic people.

So here’s what Microsoft did: They grabbed 5 panels, 5 projectors, and 4 Kinect sensors. With that they made a giant cube that you can interact with. Not only that, you can interact with people on the other side of the cube. Pretty cool concept. It kind of opens the doors to interacting with live holograms like in Mass Effect or Star Wars.

Microsoft got this together for the Decibel Festival in Seattle which celebrates visual arts and new media.
