The world, understandably, just can’t get enough of Black Panther. The newest iteration of the Marvel franchise is coming in the form of a comic book centered around King T’Challa’s younger sister and badass in her own right, Shuri.

Award-winning science fiction and Afrofuturist author Nnedi Okorafor announced via Twitter on Tuesday that she will be authoring upcoming comic book series, titled after its heroine, Complex reports.

The series is a collaboration between Okorafor and Eisner Award-winning comic book artist Leonardo Romero. In the new adventure, the enterprising genius Shuri will assume the role of leading Wakanda while her brother is lost in an outer space expedition, according to Bustle.

“Without T’Challa around, Shuri will have to decide if she will forego her own passions in order to stand up for her nation,” Marvel Entertainment editor Jamie Frevele wrote in a press release.

Readers can expect the same wittiness and radiance that Letitia Wright brought to the big screen as Shuri in the record-breaking box office hit to shine through in the comics—and they are absolutely stoked about it.
