What does the clown mask mean though?

Fox News commentator Tomi Lahren shared her Halloween costume on social media and it looks …familiar. Lahren recreated comedian Kathy Griffin’s controversial photoshoot of her holding President Donald Trump‘s lifeless, bloody head. Lahren used a red wig and the royal blue shirt but replaced Trump’s head with a clown head.

“He ruined me. Sometimes I do things and you may wonder, Kathy, where is your head at? Well folks, I’m taking matters into my own hands,” Lahren wrote in an Instagram caption. “Yes, some may say I am looking more and more like Ronald McDonald by the day and you’re not wrong. BUT I will stand here with my head held high! Happy Halloween from all of us infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome! MAGA!”

This isn’t the first time Lahren has taken hits at Griffin. The pair has a history of feuding publicly, according to the Hill. After Griffin’s photoshoot, Lahren called her a “demented a-hole” on Twitter.

Griffin called Lahren a “dime store Barbie” and an “evil, horrible shell of a human being” in a tweet last month after Lahren told former first lady Michelle Obama to “sit down.”

Although Lahren’s costume was meant to take down Griffin, some saw the clown head as a symbol for Trump.

“Breaking: Tomi Lahren, Kathy Griffin, a majority of the rest of the world, and I agree that Trump is the equivalent of a terrifying clown,” one Twitter user wrote.

Others saw the costume as a cry for attention, calling Lahren “thirsty.”

There’s certainly at least one thing we can agree on—that clown head is scary.
