There’s a new meme circulating on Twitter that reminds us of a simpler, more wholesome time before we were glued to the tiny computers in our pockets.

“Not a cell phone in sight. Just living in the moment. Absolutely beautiful, wish we could go back,” the meme says. People began sharing photos of people living in the moment, with no cell phones in sight.

One person shared one of the many fights on Jersey Shore, where there really was no cell phone in sight. Just the infamous duck phone.

Others took it way back with a photo of dinosaurs.

Some shared photos from movies. One person posted a photo from Shrek.

And another person shared a shot from The Lion King.

And another from Call Me By Your Name, which is less funny and more just true.

And then there is one guy whose tweet is absolutely too wholesome and probably not even meant to be part of this meme.

“Not a cell phone in sight… Parents used to give the restaurant phone number to the sitter and then go have fun!” he shared with a photo of his parents on a date. This is one is actually beautiful and I kind of do wish we could go back.

This meme is sweet and all, but if we didn’t have our phones how would we look all these dank memes?
