The newest Deadpool 2 trailer introduced us to a fun-looking bunch of new superheroes, but it also gave us a gesture we’ve seen before.

In the trailer, Deadpool (played by Ryan Reynolds) called his new superhero team the “X-Force” and crossed his arms for emphasis. To Gal Gadot, who brought Wonder Woman to life on the big screen, the move looked familiar because she used it just under a year ago in Wonder Woman to tap into her own power.

Gadot playfully called Reynolds out on Twitter and Instagram, noting in both posts that he “stole my look!!”

The image of Wonder Woman’s crossed arms—which released a surge of power and allowed her to kill Ares at the end of Wonder Woman—was striking, one that featured heavily in promotion and trailers for the film. And it’s not the only time it’s recently been used by other superheroes.

It’s the kind of pose that X-Men’s Wolverine has made on posters over the years and one he could use to unleash his claws. It’s also reminiscent of Black Panther’s Wakanda salute, which also has more resonance and purpose as Black Panther crosses his arms to unleash his own claws. On the other hand, Deadpool’s crossed arms seem to be just that: crossed arms.

Reynolds admitted to taking Wonder Woman’s signature move, and he had a couple of explanations for it. On Twitter, he noted that “imitation is the purest form of larceny” while his Instagram comment to Gadot noted that in Canada, him stealing Wonder Woman’s move was called “borrowing.”

That’s definitely a Deadpool kind of move.
