More and more people are staying inside as the coronavirus pandemic continues to wreak havoc on the world. The United States is now one of the most affected countries in the world, with over 200,000 cases and 4,500 deaths. During this time, people have been encouraged to practice social distancing and self-isolation.

The good thing about everyone self-isolating at the same time is that it helps slow the spread of the virus. On the flip-side, people are missing out on the activities that once made up their everyday lives.

Many are now reminiscing about all the activities they miss doing and what they can’t wait to do once the pandemic passes.

The meme, which perfectly embodies this sentiment, is a picture of Arthur character D.W. holding a fence, staring longingly at what is on the other side.

Do you miss getting your eyebrows done? Post a photo of the beauty service along with the photo of D.W. holding the fence. (In this case, a very hairy D.W holding the fence.)

What about dining in for a happy hour margarita with chips and dip? Use the Arthur meme.

One posted a photo of all the non-essential stores they can’t wait to get back to: Marshalls, Ross, and T.J. Maxx.

There is no set date as to when the pandemic will subdue. Many states have issued stay-at-home orders, with some even closing schools for the rest of the year.

Each state is also expected to “peak” at different times, meaning the nation could be dealing with the virus for longer than most would like. New York state is expected to peak in mid-April, while California is expected to have its peak of cases around April 26. Florida, on the other hand, is not expected to see its peak until May.
