To the delight of fans, Netflix has announced that Marvel series The Punisher will get a second season.
Besides the obvious fact that actor Jon Bernthal will reprise his lead role, we don’t know much about what will happen or who might appear in season 2. (Daredevil, anyone?) Over the course of the series, The Punisher‘s Frank Castle grew close with David Lieberman (aka “Micro”) after helping him clear his name and avenge his family. One thing fans can expect is that it will be awhile before we even see season 2 considering the long waits for other Marvel shows on Netflix, including Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and The Daredevil.

Nonetheless, fans are excited to hear the war dog will be back, and they’re hopeful for a #Kastle (Karen Page and Frank Castle) reunion.
