Nearly five months after President Donald Trump‘s inauguration, First Lady Melania Trump and their child Barron are finally joining him in Washington, D.C.

According to people familiar with the planning, now that Barron’s school year is over, the first lady and her son have scheduled their big move from New York City for June 14, Politico reports.

Trump is the first first lady in recent history to delay her move to the White House after a president’s inauguration. Though the actual cost for security for Trump and her son to stay in New York is unclear, it’s estimated that the city spent$500,000 per day for security costs for President Trump, from the time he became the president-elect to his inauguration.

While Melania’s parents, Victor and Amalija Knavs, will also be at the White House more often to help care for Barron, they don’t plan to move to D.C. Currently, they live with Melania and Barron in the Trump Tower penthouse and spend their weekends with the Trumps at Mar-a-Lago or at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

Katherine Jellison, an Ohio University history professor who specializes in first lady studies, told Politico that the move might create an air of normalcy to the White House, and give the impression that President Trump’s marriage has stabilized. Perhaps that may mean less puzzling body language in the weeks to come.
