This far-right troll says Joe Biden has coronavirus and will die within 30 days

Biden’s campaign disappointed the ‘tinfoil hat crowd’ by refuting the claim.

Far-right troll and scam artist Jacob Wohl is claiming online that former Vice President Joe Biden has tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Wohl, known for his frequent sham press conferences in which he often lofts false allegations on left-leaning figures, made the claim online Monday.

Not only does Wohl allege that Biden has contracted the disease, but that the Democratic candidate for president will die in 30 days.

“BREAKING: Joe Biden has tested positive for Wuhan Corona Virus,” Wohl claims. “Medical experts say he has 30 days to live.”

As expected, no evidence exists whatsoever to suggest that Biden has the coronavirus, despite claims from Wohl and others on the internet.

As with any swindle involving Wohl, the scam fell apart quickly.

Kate Bedingfield, the deputy campaign manager and communications director for Biden, denied the allegation on Twitter as well.

“Needless to say, for the tinfoil hat crowd–we spent the weekend building a TV studio in Joe Biden’s basement,” Bedingfield said. “He doesn’t have coronavirus, but he does have a camera now. So buckle up!”

The incident is just the latest in a long line of outrageous claims made by Wohl.

Alongside fellow scammer Jack Burkman last month, Wohl called for the New Hampshire primary to be suspended over false claims that Biden belonged to a Parkinson’s disease support group.

With the 2020 race inching closer, Wohl will undoubtedly prey on his ever-shrinking followers with more fake stories in the coming months.
