All it takes is a wizard’s touch to make a Harry Potter fan’s wedding day even more magical.
On the football field, wide receiver Mike Evans is a vital part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’s offense. Off the field, he’s as big a Potter fan as the rest of us. He’s been tweeting about his love of the franchise almost as long as he’s had a Twitter account, between manual retweets from followers and his own bursts of excitement.

“The funny thing when I met him was that he loves Harry Potter, because he doesn’t look like he watches Harry Potter,” Ashli Evans, then Ashli Dotson and Evans’s fiancée, told USA Today last year.
The two married last week, and while the football player left his wizarding robes at home, he managed to incorporate his love of Harry Potter into the wedding.
Jerron Reese, who attended the wedding, shared a photo of the multi-level cake for the guests, and it’s full of Harry Potter goodness. Four of the levels are devoted to the four Hogwarts houses, with nods to such things as Hermione’s Time Turner, the Marauder’s Map, Harry’s glasses, a broom, and the Golden Snitch. Perched at the top is an owl that looks a lot like Hedwig.
