Didn’t know this place had a bouncer.

Cats are fairly confident when it comes to navigating the world’s infinite variety of obstacles—but they’ve been known to miscalculate. If you have 9 seconds to spare, here is a singular example of what happens when a French feline fails to account for the solidity of a bakery’s glass door.

Don’t get distracted by those delicious pastries, or you might just miss it:

No word on the little guy’s condition or whether he’ll sue, though this may mark the first time that cats and birds find themselves in agreement: Humans need to stop making transparent things.
