Axl Rose is pissed about the Floyd Mayweather–Manny Pacquiao match, and he’s not gonna take it anymore.
OK, I know that’s a joke at the expense of a different blond-haired rocker from the 1980s, but still, the Guns ‘N Roses lead singer must have felt that Mayweather was so condescending and that his gall was never-ending and that if that’s his best, his best won’t do.
Presenting Rose’s Twitter feed.

(Apropos of absolutely nothing, notice the numbers of all those retweets and favorites. Rose’s fan base is nothing if not consistent.)
It’s true that Rose has been known to go on the occasional Twitter rant, but usually, they don’t last for 10 status updates (you could say that, ahem, Rose used to do a little but a little wouldn’t do, so the little got more and more).
Based on that rant, we can assume Rose paid his $100 to watch the fight and didn’t instead view it via Periscope. And we can assume Rose also wasn’t happy that the boxing public had to wait six years before it finally saw Mayweather beat Pacquiao in what many considered to be a lackluster spectacle.
But compared to Rose, Mayweather and Pacquiao are a couple of amateurs. After all, Rose made his public wait more than 17 years from the Use Your Illusion albums before he released Chinese Democracy, also considered by many to be a lackluster piece of work.
Say this for Rose, though. At least he didn’t charge anybody $100 to buy it.
