The Game Awards, Geoff Keighley’s annual video game awards show, has announced the nominees for the very best games of the year in 19 categories.  

Leading the pack with eight nominations, including Game of the Year and multiple performance awards, is Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Other popular contenders are Blizzard’s Overwatch, id’s Doom and indie titles like Firewatch and Inside.

Last year’s show featured a tribute to Satoru Iwata and live music. We know that we can expect an appearance from Hideo Kojima and gameplay from Mass Effect Andromeda this year when the show is streamed live via Twitter on Dec. 1.
