Earlier in this week, a snippet from former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski’s book went viral, which detailed the president’s massive McDonald’s order.
“Trump’s appetite seems to know no bounds when it comes to McDonald’s, with a dinner order consisting of “two Big Macs, two Fillet-O-Fish, and a chocolate malted.”
That is absurd, a meal consisting of 2,600 calories and over 80 grams of fat. But today, Lewandoski defended Trump over accusations of gluttony, saying that the candidate kept it in line by not eating his buns.
Asked about Trump's campaign trail fast food eating habits (2 Big Macs, 2 Filet of Fish, chocolate milkshake) on @NewDay, Corey Lewandowski says: "Well, he never ate the bread, which is the important part … Was I concerned? No" https://t.co/YM7G41NAA3— Jennifer Hansler (@jmhansler) December 7, 2017
Well, OK. Except that a Big Mac has a slice of bread in the middle. Did he pull that middle slice out? How does that work? And describing a Big Mac as a couple pieces of meat is simply foul.
Like… no. Plus, Paleo is so 2012.
