John Oliver doesn’t want to talk about the U.S. presidential election. He really doesn’t. But thanks to FBI Director James Comey’s letter to Congress about emails that may be related to Hillary Clinton from an unrelated case, he now has to—and even brings in an old friend.

The FBI discovered the emails while investigating Anthony Weiner for allegedly sexting an underage girl; they were found on a laptop used by Weiner’s estranged wife, Clinton aide Huma Abedin. The letter from Comey was criticized by Democratic senators; Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) accused him of violating the Hatch Act for reviving the investigation on Clinton’s emails while withholding information about Donald Trump’s alleged ties to Russia.

But for Oliver, it calls back to his stint hosting The Daily Show for Jon Stewart three years ago—right around the time it was revealed Weiner sent texts and photos to women under the alias Carlos Danger. Carlos Danger became a larger than life part of The Daily Show as Oliver couldn’t resist the urge to dance every time he had to say “Carlos Danger,” and it turns out old habits die hard.

“Dammit, Weiner!” Oliver said. “For the record, this is a reflex.”

Dancing aside, Oliver highlighted the nightmare this now causes, which almost certainly won’t be resolved until after Election Day.
