Greta Thunberg, the teenage climate activist, took one final dig at President Donald Trump as his presidency reached its final hours.

Trump ignited a feud with the teenager in September 2019 after she gave an emotional speech in front of the United Nations where she criticized world leaders for the effects of the climate crisis. Trump shared a clip of Thunberg’s speech, which went viral, saying that she “seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future.” The tweet was taken by many to be sarcastic.

The president continued to go after the teenager when he said it was “ridiculous” that the climate activist was named the 2019 Person of the Year by Time magazine. The president then mocked her by saying she needed to “work on her anger management problem” and “chill.”

But on Wednesday, Thunberg took Trump’s repeated mocking and used it against him yet again.

This time, she posted a picture of Trump boarding Marine One and captioned it: “He seems like a very happy old man looking forward to a bright and wonderful future!” directly calling back Trump’s sarcastic remarks.

People online loved Thunberg’s dunk on Trump on the day that he leaves office.

“It’s good Trump is gone for the climate’s sake but will really miss this level of dunking on the timeline,” one Twitter user remarked.
