Are you attractive enough to use this ‘hotties-only’ Airbnb knockoff?

LoveRoom allows people to rent their living space to other people under “one condition.”

Don’t you hate it when you open up your CouchSurfing or Airbnb account to see that you have a new potential visitor and you click on the profile to find that it’s actually a sweaty hippy with rough skin? There’s now an app for that—an entire service, really: LoveRoom, a website designed to facilitate the couch surfing of people society has deemed to be super duper sexy.

OK, so the word LoveRoom uses is “attractive,” but it’s the service’s foremost qualifier. Launched in beta last week, with a full release coming just in time for Valentine’s Day, the site bills itself as a “platform where people can rent their living space to other people under one condition,” that condition being your jarring good looks.

Let’s just say you’re hot, though—that you’ve rendered suitors speechless your whole life. Congratulations! You can create a LoveRoom account: add pictures, your first name, answer a bunch of A or B questions like a 12-year-old (takeout or cook at home?, take a walk or cruise around?). Now decipher between looking for friendship, casual dating, or a serious relationship (with your temporary roommate!) and let everybody know if you’re searching for a pad or you’ve got a room to share, and start cookin’.

Of course, there’s a plethora of questions that need to be answered, like “Who determines who’s attractive enough to join this exclusive club?” and “Do these dudes do background checks?”

The first question’s answer’s up in the air. As for the second, LoveRoom founder Josh Bocanegra, 23, suggests you run a Google search.

Covering the LoveRoom gamut that way shouldn’t be too difficult. A representative from the company told the Daily Dot that the site has received over 1700 users in four days, including this dude below, so you’ll surely be able to vet anybody who makes it known they want to shack up with you.

Looks like the kind of guy who’s perfect for the love room, right ladies? What’s that in his mouth? A peanut?
