Here’s what happens when the driver of a Lamborghini loses control

Baby, you can drive my car. As long as you don't run it into a wall and then abandon it.

If you’re going to rent a Lamborghini, you’re either looking to impress a potential mating partner (sort of like in License to Drive) or you just want to drive a really fast car really fast. In either case, it’s probably best not to crash the rental car, and if you do happen to have an accident, it’s really a good idea not to run away.

But that’s the decision this unfortunate soul made after he or she rammed the rented Lamborghini into a wall on the side of a Dallas toll road. The accident occurred last March but video of the crash was released this past week. It’s pretty spectacular.

According to Jalopnik, the car was borrowed last March from a company called Exotic Skittles, which, according to its Facebook page, rents luxury and exotic vehicles. Presumably to those who need to impress other people.

An Exotic Skittle representative told Jalopnik at the time of the crash that this was the first one of its rentals that had been wrecked and abandoned, even though he also said that car crashes were something that the company has to factor in and that “it’s part of the cost of doing business.”

Here’s what the car looked like after its meeting with the wall.

Which, of course, is nothing compared to what the two Coreys managed in License to Drive.
