Sorry, Drizzy. No new friends.

Last night, the Miami Heat won game 7 of the NBA Finals, securing their third national championship title. Celebrities posted up courtside, as they do. Popular Canadian rapper Drake was there. Miami New Times “puppet” columnist Pepe Billete tweeted this Vine of him shouting at an old man during the game, giving the country further reason to hate both Heat fans and Drake.

Afterwards, more bad news for Drake: He is denied access to the Heat’s locker room. In just 17 seconds, you see the whole media hierarchy writ large. He is told, “only media.” Drake responds by saying,  “I am media,” which should be a contender for his next album title, if he wants to keep up with Kanye’s “I am a God” proclamations. The security guard then adds, “No new friends.” Ouch!

This is where that Drake meme from a few years ago comes in handy. However, Drake isn’t necessarily a “new” friend; he went on record in a NBA 2K12 promo, and proclaimed the Miami Heat “greatest team of all time.”

Drake seems to have bounced back from that personal foul. In photos of the afterparty, he is the Where’s Waldo? of South Beach. They even had pizza delivered to the club. Congrats, Heat.
