A crowd gathered this morning on 14th Street when an unnamed cat began to sing on the sidewalk in front of a brownstone.

“He just walked up to the stoop, looked up at a second floor window and started belting out Endless Love,” said eyewitness Sarah Fishman.

According to Fishman, and others, after a short time, another cat appeared at the window to listen. When the singing kitty was finished, he climbed up the fire escape and went inside the apartment.

“He caused quite a scene for a few moments down on the street,” said Randall Dietz, another witness. “There had to be about forty or fifty people gathered around while he was singing.”

Neither cat’s identity remains unknown.
