Breakdancing teacher redefines what it means to go old school

To steal a phrase from my old gym teacher Timothy Holley: If you wanna be old school, you gotta get through new school first. 

That’s evidently a theory prescribed to by Mikey Satira, director of student activities at Bishop Ford High School in Brooklyn, who turned his reputation amongst students on its head last week when he himself turned upside down upon his head in a fifteen-second breakdancing video that’s currently got the Internet going nuts

Clearly Satira’s run a screening or two of The Wild Style in his off time. Who knows, maybe a spot on “King of the Floor” is in the teacher’s future?
