What could be more fun than a theme park attraction inspired by Attack on Titan, a story about the gruesome and protracted demise of the human race?

Well, it’s happening. Rocket News 24 reports that Universal Studios Japan is working on two new anime attractions, based on Attack on Titan and Evangelion.

While Evangelion gets a fully fledged theme park ride involving a giant robot battle scene, the Attack on Titan attraction is a “4-D” cinema show, one of those movie theaters that uses blasts of air and water, moving seats, and other physical effects in addition to a typical 3D cinema experience.

The two attractions are scheduled to open this summer, a few months after Attack on Titan season 2 (finally) begins. Anyone who wants to relive one of the most disturbing dystopian settings on film should start planning their trip now.
