We got our first look at American Gods, Starz’s TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s bestselling novel, months ago, but coming off the heels of SXSW the show is revealing even more of its gods and the war to come.
While we’ve already met some of the Old Gods and the New Golds in the world Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) is about to inhabit, we’re now seeing Easter (Kristin Chenoweth) and Mr. Nancy/Anansi (Orlando Jones) for the first time, as well as some of the “Coming to America” vignettes that will become American Gods’ cold opens. It’s gonna be a bloody ride, and Shadow’s already in over his head.
