Star Trek: Discovery finally began filming last week, and CBS has already posted its first teaser from behind the scenes.

The one-minute clip celebrates Star Trek‘s past. before sharing a tantalizing glimpse of Discovery‘s new sets and costumes. We see a huge set being built on a soundstage (presumably it is the U.S.S. Discovery), along with a close-up of the new Starfleet uniform and some armor that looks like it may belong to the Klingons.

We suspect this video was partly designed to put fears to rest and reassure fans that Discovery is actually happening. The show has already been delayed twice—first from January to May 2017, and now to an unspecified later date—so this teaser confirms that filming is truly underway.
