Game of Thrones’ final six-episode season likely won’t be available to watch until 2019. But if Lena Headey’s Instagram account is any indication, filming for season 8 is close to or has already begun.
As she posted Wednesday, the actress who plays Cersei Lannister was modeling hair and teeth (or as she put it HAIR AND TEETH !!!) for the next season.
These are not the first behind-the-scenes photos we’ve seen from season 8. Last month, Candice Banks, the series’ hair supervisor, posted this of Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, with her newly colored hair.
According to reports, filming for season 8 could run as late as next August.
