On Christmas morning, rich kids across America opened their presents to find products that, despite all evidence to the contrary, we’ve decided to call hoverboards.
It was usually a matter of days, if not hours, before they wiped out or watched their new toys blow up. But one girl did it in especially spectacular fashion.
You have to give her credit, though, for going right in after it, like a polar bear diving for a particularly delicious-looking seal. Maybe she thought the 10-second rule applied to electronics dropped in water?
At any rate, it seems that she, like Marty McFly before her, missed a key piece of information about hoverboards.
