We’ve really come a long way with strategy guides. From the pages of Nintendo Power to our indispensible Prima books, we’ve relied on them to guide us through the perils of many a strange and magical world.
Today, collectors have a much higher quality of strategy guide to look forward to owning (no offense, Prima). The new The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Collector’s Edition strategy guide is so beautiful you’ll be proud to leave it on your coffee table, which is more than we can say for guides of the past. A beautifully illustrated hardcover, the book features a map poster and 16 pages of Zelda art along with the strategy section.
It’s worth mentioning that an even fancier version exists, but that it’s already sold out at Amazon (boo). You can hop on the mailing list if you’d like to be notified when more arrive, however.
The Collector’s Edition is $23.99, and there’s also a softcover version for $15.20. Both come out on March 3 along with the game, and ordering $25 or more of books on Amazon scores you free shipping as well. Just a reminder that March 3 is a Friday, so you should probably take the day off work to relish Zelda in all its beauty.
