An Indianapolis Target-employed Starbucks barista was fired after posting a video showing viewers how to make a “Blue Lives Matter” drink.

The video, which currently has over 425,000 views, was posted by @VanGreysonHeart, who has since seemingly changed their username to @Yuck1312. In the video, @Yuck1312 explains how to make the blue concoction.

“First, we’re going to start with bleach, all the way to the third line,” they say as they pour some liquid into a venti cup.

They then say they are “going to add ice, because, you know, cops love ice,” seemingly referencing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

“In a cold foam pitcher, we’re going to add more bleach, a little blood of innocent Black men,” they continue as they pour red liquid into a cup

They go on to pour in a blue powder and blend the mixture before pouring it all into a cup with the words “Blue Lives Matter” written on it.

Target called the video “appalling and unacceptable” when confirming to the Daily Dot that it terminated the employee in question. “We don’t tolerate this behavior at Target, want all guests to be treated with respect,” Target said in a statement.

Target further said that the worker “egregiously violated” the “rigorous food safety procedures” it has in place. “We’re deeply sorry for this disturbing video, which TikTok has removed based on the platform’s guidelines,” it added.

Target reportedly does not believe the drink was served to a guest. It also doesn’t think actual bleach was used, but rather a mixture of milk and water.

Because the worker was employed through Target, not Starbucks, the coffee chain declined to give an official statement. However, a Starbucks spokesperson told the Daily Dot that “the company is disturbed by what they saw on the video and condemns any behavior that threatens violence against others.”
