Donald Trump joined the American people on Tuesday night in watching the vice presidential debate between Indiana Gov. Mike Pence (R) and Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine (D). He even picked up the ol’ Twitter to livetweet the political showdown with the rest of us.
I will be watching the great Governor @Mike_Pence and live tweeting the VP debate tonight starting at 8:30pm est! Enjoy!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 4, 2016
So far so good. As the debate kicked off, Trump got the ball rolling with a little #MAGA. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
I will be live-tweeting the V.P. Debate. Very exciting! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 5, 2016
After inviting America to again “enjoy” the debate, Trump decided to push out a few retweets, pump out a few pro-Pence applause lines. Then all hell broke loose and Trump just started screaming at everyone.
ICYMI: PENCE: I RAN A STATE THAT WORKED; KAINE RAN A STATE THAT FAILED. https://t.co/XuWaueNkH0— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 5, 2016
The problem seemed to correct itself intermittently, and eventually stopped altogether. Fortunately for Trump, leaving the caps lock on while you tweet isn’t going to go over nearly as badly as Kaine leaving the caps lock on the entire debate.
Mike Pence won big. We should all be proud of Mike!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 5, 2016
