‘We Didn’t Start the Fire’ but with men accused of being sexual predators

It's catchy. And depressing!

The accusations against men in entertainment and politics are numerous enough that they can now be edited into a remix of Billy Joel’s 1989 hit “We Didn’t Start the Fire.”

Writer Ed Solomon (Men in Black, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure) posted this tweet on Thursday, based on a suggestion by Twitter user @bornmiserable. “We Didn’t Start the Ire” will no doubt have to be edited to include more sexual predators, and it doesn’t include every name (hey, it had to rhyme), but it’s a good starting point.

Of course with President Donald Trump, a man accused of sexual assault himself, in the White House and on Twitter, there could be a new version of this every day.

Billy Joel has not yet responded.
