Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have come a long way since their Full House days. But amidst the celebration over New York Minute coming to Netflix and the launch of Elizabeth and James, the Olsen twins made a surprise appearance on Ashley Benson’s Insta to wish her a happy birthday.

The Olsen twins’ social media presence is practically nonexistent, so naturally, the video has people freaking out.

The video is, in a word, chaotic. The twins are wearing coordinating black wool coats and black sunglasses with their hair pulled back, chic as ever. They wish Benson a happy birthday in unison, and Ashley continues, “I hope this year is one of the best ones yet. Sending you lots of love.” Mary-Kate cuts in, “super magical and can’t wait to meet you soon.”

Benson, who turned 30 years old on Wednesday, posted the video with the caption, “Dreams do come true.”

Twitter user @JarettSays posted the video on Twitter and said, “this video of Mary-Kate and Ashley wishing Ashley Benson a happy birthday is now my front runner for Best Picture.”

Another wanted to know how much it would cost to receive a video like that from the Olsen twins on Cameo.

Naturally, people had thoughts on the twins’ look.

“They look like my sleep paralysis demons but like in a hot way,” Twitter user @chrisainslie_ wrote.

Twitter user @RobDenBleyker compared them to the Matrix 4 villains.

“Excited for this movie,” RobDenBleyker wrote.

And writer Carrie Courogen summed up what everyone is thinking.

“I have…..so many questions,” Courogen wrote.

From Mary-Kate’s “can’t wait to meet you,” it sounds like the twins aren’t exactly close with Benson. But there must have been a good reason for these two to make a social media appearance.
