“I tried making a sexy twerk video for my boyfriend and things got a little too hot.”

Miley Cyrus has nothing on Caitlin Heller.

Heller joined YouTube just to share what’s been dubbed “Worst Twerk Fail EVER,” and the 37-second home video doesn’t disappoint.

It starts the way you’d expect it: hands down, ass up, feet pressed against the door—just the way Diplo intended—then suddenly someone tries to walk through said door. The rest you’ll have to see to believe, but even then, it almost seems too funny to not be staged. I mean, who twerks with lit candles?

Heller has a counter in the video’s description:

“I tried making a sexy twerk video for my boyfriend and things got a little too hot.”

If there’s a lesson to be learned here, clearly it’s to lock the door before you pop, lock, and drop it.

Update: On Sept. 10, Jimmy Kimmel revealed he was behind the twerking hoax. The stuntwoman, Daphne Avalon, was not harmed.
