We love our Super Smash Bros., but have always wondered: Is it possible to beat Classic mode in Melee with a DDR dance pad?

Well, thanks to YouTube channel Super Scrub Brothers we now know.

As you could imagine, playing a fast and intense game like Melee without a Gamecube controller would be a daunting task, even in easy mode. Demonstrated by the video above, a Fox controlled by your feet taking on the final boss, Master Hand, is challenging.

To achieve this, the dancer, who goes by the name ATwerkingYoshi, had to emulate the game on his computer so that it would read the inputs from his PlayStation 2 dance pad. And this isn’t the first game the Super Scrub Brothers have beaten games using a DDR dance pad. They’ve taken on the likes of Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time. Using a dance pad to run through Hyrule? Talk about a workout.
