If you play Pink Floyd‘s Dark Side of the Moon uninterrupted for three times straight, it apparently syncs up almost perfectly with Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

At least, that’s what redditors are claiming in a thread on r/pinkfloyd.

To back up the argument, the user provides this video of the first eight minutes of the film with Pink Floyd’s album overlaid. Even though the original film audio has been stripped, the sounds, music, and even lyrics from Dark Side of the Moon seem to tell the story just fine.

The video begins right at the end of the iconic yellow scrolling text, leading to the fleet of Imperial ships en route to Jakku. The hollow, metallic noises and evil laughter pair up with the army of Stormtroopers, standing in unison under eerily flickering lights. As if on cue, the screams in album-opener “Speak to Me” play as BB-8 rushes to the heart of the village to warn of the Imperial arrival.

Pink Floyd’s lyrics also match up with certain moments in The Force Awakens, seemingly describing or foreshadowing the events of the movie. Redditors noted a few of their favorite instances below. Fair warning—spoilers ahead.

  • The lyrics of “Time” play throughout the entirety of Rey’s introductory scene, detailing her daily struggles and routines.
  • While Kylo Ren is looking around the battlefield of Maz Kanata’s home planet, the line “God only knows, it’s not what we would choose to do” plays.
  • The line “black and blue” from “Us vs. Them” plays when Finn receives Luke’s lightsaber—the word “blue” sung as Finn ignites Luke’s signature blue blade. Later during Kylo and Rey’s battle, the line plays again, “Black and blue, and who knows which is which and who is who?”
  • Speaking of lightsabers, the phrase, “keep your hands off of my stack” from “Money” play when Rey discovers Luke’s lightsaber in Maz’s chest and again when Han puts his hand on Kylo’s lightsaber.
  • In the moments leading up to Han’s death, the lyrics speak to his determination to get through to his son, and Kylo’s struggle to kill him: “I’m not frightened of dying. Any time will do” then “If you can hear this whispering, you are dying.”

There are many more to be found. If you want to see for yourself, grab a copy of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which just released on Blu-ray last week.
