They’ve been teasing fans with their Twitter bromance for most of 2014, and now William Shatner and Supernatural fan favorite Misha Collins are finally collaborating on a project we can all get behind: wine-tasting.

Though Shatner has enjoyed claiming not to know who this Misha person is, his enthusiasm for Collins’ charity projects like GISHWHES has belied his droll humor. And now the cat’s fully out of the bag, as Collins has joined Shatner for his celebrity interview and wine-tasting series, Brown Bag.

OK, I promised Misha fans a surprise and here we go- @mishacollins Brown Bag Wine Tasting Episode: MBB

The series featured a deadpan Shatner briefly interviewing some of his celebrity pals about their lives and projects before the two of them get to the business of drinking wine like savants.

But since Misha Collins is a consummate troll who never simply plays by the rules, the red wine he samples yields a hilarious mix of unexpected tastes, including what Collins describes as “amphibian” and “primordial” overtones.

Given the playful tendency of Shatner and Collins to out-tease each other, it’s hardly a surprise that the video’s description touts Collins as Shatner’s “Twitter nemesis.”

But the interview itself, which features Shatner asking Collins about the ways he’s marshalled the Supernatural fanbase to turn his charity Random Acts of Kindness into a major world-record-breaking phenomenon, is surprisingly sweet.

“I’m loath to admit it because I don’t know your name,” says Shatner, “but you’re a purveyor of good causes—great causes.”

And one of them is most certainly promoting good wine, which Collins and Shatner proceed to do to our immense delight.

Though it’s not as epic as a guest appearance by the legendary Shatner on Supernatural, it’s still pretty epic. And seeing our fave Twitter celebrities clearly enjoying each other’s company always makes us smile. Especially when there’s alcohol involved.
