We’ve all mindlessly scrolled through Facebook mobile and carelessly Liked every other post on our timelines. A guy recently caught onto those habits, and tested just how far the carelessness could go.
Facebook user “Zach” proposed to his girlfriend, posted a celebratory photo online, and watched the Likes roll in. Over 300, as a matter of fact.

“Simply incredibly [sic]!” Zach captioned the fourth proposal photo. “My engagements have been so popular online that I proposed a 4th time today!”

After that, Zach took an engagement shot with a guy named Charak. Zach’s original proposee looked particularly unhappy in the background.

There’s always the chance some of the reactions were from users who caught on to the trolling and found it entertaining, since Zach helps make comical videos for Ladie’s Night. But, there could still be a lesson learned here.
Watch what you Like, and make sure you’re still genuinely interested in the people you’re friends with on Facebook. You know, people whose engagement photos you’ll actually pay attention to before carelessly liking.
