Can you imagine landing a job at one of the hottest new video game development studios in the world, only to demonstrate to your new boss that you can’t play games at all?

In the third episode of his HideoTube Web show, famed Metal Gear developer Hideo Kojima takes us on a tour of the GAME ON exhibit at Miraikan, the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Odaiba, Tokyo. The interactive exhibit traces the development of video games from the earliest arcade cabinets, like Pong, to present-day virtual-reality gear.

Kenji Yano, Kojima’s friend and a former employee of the Kadokawa Shoten publishing company, joins him once again as co-host. Apparently, Yano is now an employee of Kojima Productions, which means he probably ought to get up to speed on gaming as rapidly as possible.

And based on his tour with Kojima through GAME ON, Yano has a lot of work to do.
